The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a matter involving the Fraud cases against “SUNSCAPE MALDIVES PVT LTD”. This scam was reported to local authorities (Ministry of Tourism and Maldives Police Services) but attempts to locate the owner of “SUNSCAPE MALDIVES PVT LTD” unsuccessful. We have been notified that the owner of “SUNSCAPE MALDIVES PVT LTD” is currently living in Thailand/Bangkok.
MATATO has now decided to BLACKLIST “SUNSCAPE MALDIVES” due to continuous complaints that we are receiving against them. We have taken this bold step to black list this company after due consideration in order to prevent both foreign and local travel companies in getting into their traps.
Therefore we urge the tourism industry not deal with them and stop communicating & sending money to “SUNSCAPE MALDIVES”. Tour Operators/Travel Agents who have already holding booking with “SUNSCAPE MALDIVES” are advise to make an alternative arrangement.
