Membership Categories

Eligibility:
Travel Agencies and Tour Operators operating within the Maldives tourism industry.

Annual Membership Fee:
MVR 7,000.00 per year

Membership Benefits & Rights:

– Participation in networking events, policy discussions, industry forums, and trade initiatives
– Representation in national-level tourism advocacy and stakeholder engagements
– Opportunity to shape the future direction of the industry through active involvement

Governance Rights:
– Full voting rights in the election of Executive Board Members
– Eligibility to contest for positions on the Executive Board
– Direct participation in decision-making processes of the Association

Eligibility:

Hotels, Resorts, Airlines, Travel Service Companies, and Tourism Industry–related suppliers and service providers

Annual Membership Fee:
MVR 5,000.00 per year

Membership Benefits:
– Access to member privileges and industry benefits
– Participation in networking events, forums, and industry initiatives
– Opportunity to engage with key tourism stakeholders

– Platform to grow brand visibility within the Maldives tourism sector

Governance Rights:
– This membership category does not include voting rights in Executive Board elections
– This membership category is not eligible to stand for election to the Executive Board

Eligibility:
Foreign Associations and Tour Operators, as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within the tourism sector — including start-up travel agencies, boutique hotels, guesthouses, and emerging tourism-related businesses.

Annual Membership Fee:
USD 195.00 per year
